2021年10月に入り、ノーベル物理学賞で日本生まれの米国人、真鍋氏（90歳）が受賞した。地球温暖化のメカニズムをCO2の影響による解明の研究が評価されたものだった。ノーベル平和賞では強権への果敢な抵抗に挑んだ二人のジャーナリストが選ばれた。文学賞にはアフリカの作家が受賞。村上春樹氏はまたもや選ばれなかった。村上氏が選ばれない理由はいくつかあるが、ひとつだけ言わせてもらえば、明確な意識を持った時代への矛盾と問題を強く発信し、説得感と共有感を人々に抱かせるまでに至らなかったということが揚げられないだろうか。村上氏はチェコのカフカ賞を受賞し、世界的な人気の流行作家で多くの国で翻訳も盛んに行われているので、毎年、マスメディアでは期待はされているが、ノーベル財団側が候補者の非公表ということで予測する方としては憶測と推理でしか伺うことが出来ない。誠に残念ではあるが、2021年は日本人には受賞者がいなかった。真鍋氏は日本生まれだが、半世紀前から米国人なので日本人としてはカウントしないほうが良いと感じている。今までも多くのノーベル物理・化学分野で日本出身の研究者がいたが、その殆どは海外での研究成果での受賞だった。CO2だけが地球温暖化の原因とは個人的には思っていないが、人のやっていない荒野で日本では出来なかった事を米国で成果を出したことが、日本政府としても基礎研究分野での国家予算が余りにも少ないという批判の波を呼び覚ましている。21世紀になっても日本の国体の退化がどんどん進んでいることもひとつの起因として数えても良いだろう。日米和親条約以来、不平等な関係が今でも続いている現状は直視し続けていかなければならない。日米原子力協定・日米地位協定・日米安全保障条約の三点セットは今世紀中も日本に君臨し続けるに違いない。1980年代、日本は国産基本OSを世界に先駆けて発信するはずだったが、日米貿易障害の憂き目に遭い、MicrosoftやAppleの多国籍企業の後塵を拝してしまった。政府はデジタル庁を立ち上げると言うが、それは何十年も前に出来ていなければならなかった案件でもある。国産基本OSの存在しない状況で今更どこまでやれるというのだろうか。OSは全て外国製、セキュリティも土台は外国製のソフト、管理も外国製・・・。SNSも国産はほとんどない。いま思えば、やるべきではなかった無謀な米国への宣戦布告と4年近くもの戦争の結果が、戦後の日本の国体衰弱の流れを生んでしまったことは間違いないと思っている。性急な明治維新の弊害がそれまでの世界に誇れる江戸時代文明の破棄を生み、徳川幕府が大政奉還した後、やらなくても良かった戊辰戦争で、国家財政が苦しくなり、海外侵略での戦勝での活路を余儀なくされ、悲劇の原爆投下まで行き着いてしまった。時代は変わったとは言え、国家が存在する限り、先人達の国のリーダー達としての責任は消え去ることはない。だからこそ、今の日本の政に司る政治家・官僚・企業のリーダーは、米国の傀儡政府と揶揄されるのが嫌なら、生々堂々と主義主張を世界に訴え、たとえ米国の反対があっても核兵器禁止条約参加や日米不平等条約の現状見直しに着手しなければならない。未来の祖国日本の再生・再興を成就するために。
2021年10月4日に岸田内閣が発足し、14日で国会が解散となった。まさに10日間だけの内閣は憲政史上最短ではないだろうか。そんなに急がなくてもコロナ対策や経済の立て直しで緊急的な予算の計上を図るのが普通だと思うが、岸田首相はあえて解散総選挙に打って出た格好だ。与党過半数維持はハードルが低すぎるという向きはあるけれども、あながち、それは 自公政権が再び下野するという憶測を排除できるものではない。統一候補の一本化による野党連合政権が救国の臨時政府になり得る可能性も大いにあると言えるからだ。菅首相後任の総裁撰のゴタゴタが有権者の意識を変えたという見方もある。今度の総選挙で投票率が下がったり伸び悩んだりしたときは、自公政権の維持は盤石になるだろうが、そのとき日本国民は世界から自滅への道を選んだという見方をされるに違いない。
