Vol.0041…『2020五輪強行という負の遺産』
2021年の東京五輪が強行開催されて８月６日になったところで、東京都では感染者が5,000人を超えてしまった。コロナ感染は全世界で累計二億人を超えた。死者も500万人が目前に迫っている。五輪関係者でも数百人規模の感染となっているが、大会組織委員会では想定内だという。これは一般常識的には驚くべき姿勢だ。IOCの利益優先がコロナ感染に勝るという不条理な体質を世界に露呈させ、五輪の招致による汚職や利権への批判が相次ぐ中、2032年までの三回分の招致都市を急いで決定した事でIOCへの批判をかわそうとしていたことは充分推測できる。コロナによる医療崩壊が現実となり、菅首相はついに重症者以外は原則全員自宅療養という思いつきの策にでた。この１年半時間的なチャンスがあったはずだが、GOTOキャンペーンに固執して対策という対策をとらずコロナ禍を政争の具としてきた。中等症患者は有無を言わさず入院を断ると言う要請をだしたが、分科会への相談もなしに勝手に決断した格好だ。コロナ感染での犠牲者が増えている中でアスリート達の五輪のメダル争いはいつものように行われているが、日本政府・大会組織委員会・東京都の中途半端なコロナ対策のツケが回ってきたという批判は誰しもが思うところだ。相も変わらず政権与党の議員や各省庁の役人がこぞって多人数での宴会や会食にいそしんでいる光景は、不本意な自粛生活に疲弊している国民への挑戦でもあるし、国家の無責任体制の有り様をさらけ出していると言って良いだろう。夏季五輪の聖火リレーはナチ政権下でのベルリン大会から始まっているが、無味乾燥な聖火リレーイベントは116億円もの五輪予算を使い切りたい五輪関係組織の思惑は見透かされている。国内の五輪スポンサーには大手の新聞社も加わっているがこれには大きな不条理感がある。公平な五輪報道への国民の信頼感を失う可能性が大きい。IOC側はパンデミックであろうがなかろうが開催に踏み切ってしまった。何らかの犠牲を伴っても大会を遂行し、アスリートにたいする健康への無関心さが報道で明らかになった。コロナ感染で重症化してもIOCは責任をいっさいとらないという姿勢には驚いた人が殆どだったに違いない。それほど近代五輪の理念と実践があまりにもかけ離れた事実を眼にしたからだ。米国NBCからの何千億円もの放映権の関係もあり簡単に大会を中止するというのは、利益を最大限重視するIOCからすれば論外なのかも知れない。日本政府もそれに同調する光景はコロナ感染の対処より五輪開催を優先する意思を表している。だから菅首相が何言っても国民への真剣なメッセージ性が生まれてこないのだ。数ヶ月前、森東京五輪組織委員会会長の不適切発言から派生したポスト交代劇は密室での結果に終わった。現役の五輪担当大臣がその後を継ぎ、元五輪担当大臣が復活し、都知事・五輪組織委員長・五輪担当大臣が全て女性となった。IOCのバッハ会長も承諾はしたが、五輪開催の是非はパンデミックの勢いから見てもかなり厳しいと普通の間からすればかなり難しいと思われて来た。2020年にネアンデルタール人が6万年前に絶滅した背景に、ウイルスへの重症化を唱えた学者がいた。あくまで仮説だが、そのDNAを持った新人類（クロマニヨン）がアングロサクソンの末裔に長く住み着いているという。今度は軽症化する遺伝子も存在するという学者の仮説も表れているが、アジア人種の重症化率が少ない理由はどこにあるのか究明する必要はある。正直な話、商業化を急ぐワクチン供給会社に歩調をあわせる専門家の発言も多いが、客観的に検証することは大事だろう。ワクチン接種が二回では足りず三回必要とする製薬会社からのアナウンスを読み解くと、ワクチン接種は永遠に年に三回必要なのだろうかという疑念を誰もが抱いてしまう。ブレイクスルー感染（二回接種しても感染する）が次第に増えてきている報道があった。若い人から中高年に感染すると言う概念は知っての通りだが、高齢者の二回接種者から若い人への感染もあり得るのかも知れない。ワクチン接種後に死亡したのにも関わらず、「因果関係不明」という事項はあらかじめどこかのマニュアルに記されているのかという疑念も湧いてくる。日本政府がワクチン開発に殆ど投資をしてこなかったツケが回っているかもしれない。治験での結果に慎重すぎる面も否定は出来ないが、それが海外薬品会社からのワクチン提供依頼外交になるしか手がない大きな原因だ。1984年のロサンゼルス大会から五輪の商業化に拍車がかかり今日まで至っているわけだが、例えば米国NBAのドリームチームの選手が参加して金メダルを取り、テニス・ゴルフ、日本プロ野球の選手チームがメダルを取るとすると、アマチュアリズムが根底にあった五輪の基本的理念が崩壊するのは当然といえる。スポーツマーケティングという言葉を聞いて久しいが、余りにも商業主義や利権に群がりすぎたIOCにも問題がある。2020東京五輪のプレゼン通りにロードマップを歩まなかった日本にも重大な責任がある。イベルメクチンなどの特効薬候補がありながら、法律的にアタはまらないといって緊急的使用の超法規的判断を避けている日本の政府にも問題がある。来日する五輪の参加アスリートや五輪関係者にはワクチンの優先接種と隔離免除もあるという。あまり言いたくはないが、コロナ禍での五輪強行開催は「悲劇的五輪」、「パンデミック五輪】と称される可能性はあるかもしれない。人命尊重を考慮にいれるのなら、日本は勇気ある撤退も視野に入れておくべきだった。その決断は莫大な経済損失を生むが、それは未来に対する人類の大きなレガシーになるに違いない。しかし、日本は地獄の黙示録の道を歩んでしまった。五輪後の世界ははたしてどうなってしまうのだろうか。。
