COVID-19の感染拡大がこれまでの勢いを超え、ウイルス株がアルファ株→ベータ株→ガンマ株→デルタ株と変異し、ラムダ株というこれまでとは数段感染力の強いものになっている。ワクチン接種を二回で完了しても、三回目の接種も必要となるとワクチン開発製薬会社はアナウンスしているが、ブレイクスルー感染（二回接種しても再び感染する）も顕著になっている。ウイルス感染の終息はワクチンだけでは難しいという状況だ。特効薬もまだ完全なものが出来ていないという事情もある。2020東京五輪開催中止という英断をせず、2020東京五輪開催とコロナ感染は無関係という日本政府の見解は全く理解できない。海外のメディアも五輪の強行開催に警鐘を鳴らしている。私の勝手な筋立てだが、ギリシャ文字のラムダというのは4番目のデルタの次にではなく、いくつか飛び超えての順番で、その文字の扱いからみて相当デルタ株より強い感染力をもった変異株だということがわかる。そういう意味で考えると、2020東京五輪変異株が認められれば、最後の文字のオメガ株に匹敵する感染力となる可能性は排除できない。五輪開催都市がロックダウン相当の状況でも強行に大会を遂行したら負の遺産を次世代に渡すという事になるかも知れない。これは日本にとって恥ずべき問題だ。紀元後2000年間、大きく分けて三回ほど人類はパンデミックと遭遇した。天然痘は現在ワクチンを接種すれば生涯効果があるとされている。インフルエンザ（スペイン風邪）は5000万人から一億人が死亡した。黒死病（ペスト）は六世紀、14世紀、十九世紀から二十世紀にパンデミックになっている。十四世紀の中国から発生した黒死病は、全人口の50％が死亡、それがシルクロード（貿易）などをわたって、ヨーロッパ・北アフリカ・中東に広まった。ヨーロッパでは当時の全人口の三割が死亡、十九世紀においてはインドで1200万人ほどが死亡した。今回のCOVID-19は三年で二億人が感染し、500万人が死亡するという状況にあるが、事実上治験を兼ねたワクチン接種で終息するという見立ては苦しいものとなっている。ワクチンや治療薬が開発されればノーベル賞に推奨できるが、感染がおさまるまであと数年はかかるとみている。2024年のパリ五輪でもパンデミックはまだ終息していないかも知れない。今私たちに出来ることは、自らの自然免疫力強化と有効なワクチン接種や治療薬の開発に期待、対処する以外に道がないということだ。

The spread of COVID-19 infection has surpassed the momentum so far, and the virus strain has mutated in the order of alpha strain → beta strain → gamma strain → delta strain, making it much more infectious than before as lambda strain. .. Vaccine development pharmaceutical companies have announced that even if vaccination is completed twice, a third vaccination will be required, but breakthrough infections (re-infection even after two vaccinations) are also prominent. .. The situation is that it is difficult to end the virus infection with the vaccine alone. There is also a situation that the silver bullet has not been completed yet. Without making the decision to cancel the 2020 Tokyo Olympics, I cannot understand the Japanese government's view that the 2020 Tokyo Olympics and corona infection are unrelated. Overseas media have also warned against the forced holding of the Olympics. My selfish rationale is that the Greek letter lambda is not next to the fourth delta, but in a few jumps over, and is a mutation that is more infectious than the equivalent delta strain in terms of its handling. It turns out that it is a stock. In that sense, if the 2020 Tokyo Olympics mutant strain is recognized, the possibility that it will be as infectious as the Omega strain of the last letter cannot be ruled out. Even if the host city of the Olympics is in a situation equivalent to lockdown, if the tournament is forcibly carried out, the negative legacy may be passed on to the next generation. This is a shameful problem for Japan. In 2000 AD, human beings encountered a pandemic roughly three times. Smallpox is currently said to have a lifelong effect if vaccinated. The flu (Spanish flu) has killed 50 to 100 million people. The plague became a pandemic in the 6th, 14th, 19th and 20th centuries. The black death disease that occurred in China in the 14th century killed 50% of the total population, and it spread to Europe, North Africa, and the Middle East across the Silk Road (trade). In Europe, 30% of the total population at that time died, and in the 19th century, about 12 million people died in India. This COVID-19 is in a situation where 200 million people will be infected and 5 million people will die in three years, but it is difficult to assume that vaccination that also serves as a clinical trial will end. If a vaccine or treatment is developed, it can be recommended for the Nobel Prize, but it will take a few more years for the infection to subside. The pandemic may not be over at the 2024 Paris Olympics. What we can do now is to expect and deal with the enhancement of our innate immunity and the development of effective vaccinations and therapeutic agents.
